Wendy's

Hello,

I wanted to see what people were saying about the fast food restaurant, Wendy's. I went on Twitter and found out that many people were unhappy with their service at Wendy's.

Here are some tweets I found:

 

As you can see these people Wendy's with some concerns. Wendy's replied to all three of them! Wendy's acted concerned in replying to them and also wanted them to DM (message) them to further investigate the issues. Looking through many other tweets to Wendy's from customers good, bad or neither, they would respond to whatever their customer's had to say. 

Wendy's twitting back to their customer's is a great way to connect with them and show they care something that many of their competitors do not do. 

Wendy's value proposition is balance is key, fresh and Wendy. 

If I was the brand manager I would make sure to keep responding to their customer's posts. Anyone and everyone can see what anyone puts out there. Wendy's responding compared to lets say McDonald's, one of their competitors, will give them the upper hand in customer service and building a better business. 

In researching what people had to say about Wendy's, I decided to do my own research. It all started with going on twitter then seeing pictures of Wendy's food. I was hungry and had not been to Wendy's for four to five months (I live in Tillamook, OR. We do not have Wendy's, sadly.) so I decided to go to Wendy's. 

I pulled up to the drive thru ordering a Dave Burger and a large chili. Go up to the window, paid, and got my food. About a mile driving home something told me to look in the bag. All I saw was my burger. No large chili. I turned around to go back to Wendy's to get my large chili. I found a parking spot and headed inside. I was not acknowledged for 10 minutes before the cashier said hi to me. 

I explained to the cashier I had gone thru the drive thru and did not receive my chili. Immediately, he apologized and said he would come back with my chili. He came back with a medium chili. I informed him I had ordered and paid for a large chili. He then pours the medium chili into a coffee cup. Yes, a coffee cup! He came back to the counter to tell me that they ran out of large containers being the reason I did not receive my chili in drive thru and why it would be in a coffee cup. 

Annoyed and hangry, I left. I went home, ate my burger and medium chili in a coffee cup and decided to tweet Wendy's about the ordeal. 

I have not heard from Wendy's yet. I have not given up that they will not tweet me back being that they probably get thousands of tweets a day. I will update this blog as soon as they tweet me back.

All New Honda Accord

Hello,

Let's talk about the new sedan, 2018 Honda Accord. It is the fifth most popular vehicle out of 21. How will the Honda Accord do with Nissan Altima and Toyota Camry releasing vehicles in the last 12 months as well?

Honda Accord have reported Accords are reliable, have high quality, comfortable, and fun to drive. The new Accord has a new exterior shape and is more luxury, wider, and lower to the ground. Its newer design gives the car a sportier look. With the new look of the car. the weight has dropped five percent making the car anywhere between 100 to 200 pounds lighter.

The wheelbase, back seat legroom and trunk have all gotten bigger with the new design. All three of their measurements would be bigger than the new Toyota Camry. The biggest difference designers made the the 2018 Honda Accord would be their new 2.0 liter turbo engine, replacing the previously used V6.

Honda Sensing is among the great things about the new Honda Accord. It is includes blind spot warnings, radar of cruise control and automatic braking just to name a few. What I think is the coolest part of the new car would be the wireless charging component.

Their value proposition would be reliable, high quality and performance.

I believe their challenge with the new car would be all the new updates. People might not be into the sportier look and new technologies that come with it.

We have been talking in class about being safe is risky. I think the designers of the Honda Accord have taken the risky route with their new design. We shall see if being risky was a great choice or not in November when the new 2018 Honda Accord comes out.
